More than half of all visits now come from phones, yet many sites are still designed on large desktop screens first.
On a small screen, every element competes for attention. Short paragraphs, clear headings and generous spacing make content easier to scan with a thumb.
Navigation should be reachable with one hand. Important actions belong near the bottom of the screen, not hidden in a corner.
Ads on mobile work best when they respect the reading flow: a compact banner, an in-article unit, or a small sticky footer that can be closed.
Test on real devices. Emulators are useful, but nothing replaces scrolling through your own site on an actual phone.
